Every year, Saratoga Chowderfest brings together some of the region’s most popular restaurants, each serving up their best chowder creations for one unforgettable winter event. From classic clam chowder to bold, creative twists, attendees get to sample and vote for their favorites.

Most Chowderfest participants are located in downtown Saratoga Springs or serve their chowder at a convenient downtown location, making it easy to stroll between stops during the event. Some restaurants also represent other parts of the city or Saratoga County.

The Saratoga Hilton (Lower Lobby)

The Hilton serves as a primary activity zone, perfect for families and those looking for unique festival souvenirs.

• Official Souvenirs: Pick up long sleeve commemorative shirts (Small-XL are $20, 2XL is $22), beanies ($15) and reusable spoons ($5).
• Credit Card transactions are subject to additional fees.
• Model Train: Check out the display provided by the Saratoga Corinth & Hudson Railway.
• Face Painting: Get festive with Miss Stacy’s Face Painting from 11am-3pm.
• Balloon Art: Look for Balloon Gal Jenny from 11am-3pm.
• Community Spirit: Visit the Franklin Community Center informational table to learn about their work and meet the volunteers assisting with merchandise sales.

Visitor Center

Located across from Congress Park, the Visitor Center is the heartbeat of the day’s information and early bird shopping.

• Beat the Crowds: Shirts will be sold at the Visitor Center before Chowderfest from Tuesday 2/3 through Friday 2/6 from 10am-4pm.
• Day of Gear: Long sleeve commemorative shirts (Small-XL are $20, 2XL is $22), beanies ($15) and reusable spoons ($5) being sold 10am-5pm.
• Credit Card transactions are subject to additional fees.
• Live Vibes: Stop by to see the Mostly Modern Festival table where they will be sharing information and playing music.
• Career and Community: Meet with NYS Troopers Recruitment who will have a table at the Visitor Center.
